I have a lot of fun figuring out the myriad of puzzle pieces that go into making complex information systems happen, which includes hardware, operating systems, frameworks, programming languages, databases and in the past, small fission reactors.

I run the Ocean Information Center at the University of Delaware’s College of Earth, Ocean and Environment and I also head up the Delaware DotNet Users Group and the Web Developers Users Group.
